I always think that Penang has great potentials. From non-Penangites' perspective, it is a small area in Malaysia but containing the biggest variations of 'to-see' places and cheap but good hawker food. Colonial buildings, fancy or boutique hotels, mosque, temple, park, heritage and now street arts - Penang has it all in one small place.
This makes it an ideal location to have engagement portrait or better known as prewedding for Asians. You can basically take few days off from work, spend 3 nights here being a relaxing and very affordable getaway, one day or two to do your photo session and still have time to explore Penang a bit.
It was a medical trip for Dyan accompanying her family but by accident, she saw my work while they were at Penang. We do a quick 2 hours session of Dyan with Jimmy around the heritage area. Walking around, taking picture is fun and at times it helped me to know even more about Penang. We were very lucky to have amazing weather that day.
&.b.t.w. - Last weekend marks my first time waking at 4am for a wedding and traveling by plane together with the couple. It was very fun and so looking forward to share the pictures.
